In the 2024 presidential race, Donald Trump carried Oxford County with 55.6% to 42.7% for Kamala Harris. That was a Republican margin of 12.9 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Paul LePage carried Oxford County with 51.3% to 46.4% for Janet Mills. In the 2024 U.S. Senate race, Angus King (Unenrolled) carried Oxford County with 49.3% to 40.3% for Demi Kouzounas. On the Partisan Electoral Alignment Index (Partisan EAI), it ranks as the 6th most Republican of 16 counties.
