It takes in 3 cities, towns and plantations: Lewiston, Greene, and Durham.

In the 2024 presidential race, Donald Trump carried the district with 52% to 45.8% for Kamala Harris. That was a Republican margin of 6.2 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Paul LePage carried the district with 50.6% to 47.4% for Janet Mills. In the 2024 U.S. Senate race, Angus King (Unenrolled) carried the district with 49.7% to 38.8% for Demi Kouzounas. On the Partisan Electoral Alignment Index (Partisan EAI), it ranks as the 17th most Republican of 60 county commissioner districts.
