It takes in 3 cities, towns and plantations: Dover-Foxcroft, Sebec, and Medford.
In the 2024 presidential race, Donald Trump carried the district with 62.8% to 35.2% for Kamala Harris. That was a Republican margin of 27.6 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Paul LePage carried the district with 60.1% to 37.8% for Janet Mills. In the 2024 U.S. Senate race, Demi Kouzounas carried the district with 48.9% to 41.6% for Angus King (Unenrolled). On the Partisan Electoral Alignment Index (Partisan EAI), it ranks as the 7th most Republican of 60 county commissioner districts.
