It takes in 5 cities, towns and plantations, the largest Milo, Greenville, Brownville, and Lake View Plantation.

In the 2024 presidential race, Donald Trump carried the district with 62.4% to 36.1% for Kamala Harris. That was a Republican margin of 26.3 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Paul LePage carried the district with 57.4% to 40.7% for Janet Mills. In the 2024 U.S. Senate race, Demi Kouzounas carried the district with 46.4% to 44.9% for Angus King (Unenrolled). On the Partisan Electoral Alignment Index (Partisan EAI), it ranks as the 9th most Republican of 60 county commissioner districts.
