State House District 87 is one of Maine’s 151 State House districts, as drawn in the 2021 redistricting plan and in effect since the 2022 election. Its population was 8,921 in the 2020 Census.

It takes in Poland and Mechanic Falls. It is represented in the Maine House of Representatives by Rep. David Boyer (R-Poland).

In the 2024 presidential race, Donald Trump carried the district with 56.6% to 41.2% for Kamala Harris. That was a Republican margin of 15.4 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Paul LePage carried the district with 55% to 43% for Janet Mills. In the 2024 U.S. Senate race, Angus King (Unenrolled) carried the district with 49.6% to 42% for Demi Kouzounas.
