State Senate District 21 is one of Maine’s 35 State Senate districts, as drawn in the 2021 redistricting plan and in effect since the 2022 election. Its population was 38,324 in the 2020 Census.

It takes in Lewiston. It is represented in the Maine Senate by Sen. Margaret "Peggy" R. Rotundo (D-Lewiston).

In the 2024 presidential race, Kamala Harris carried the district with 52.9% to 44.7% for Donald Trump. That was a Democratic margin of 8.2 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Janet Mills carried the district with 57.6% to 40.6% for Paul LePage. In the 2024 U.S. Senate race, Angus King (Unenrolled) carried the district with 52.9% to 31.8% for Demi Kouzounas.
