It is part of Congressional District 1, State Senate District 30, State House District 108 (51% of residents), State House District 109 (49% of residents), and County Commissioner District 1, in the Greater Portland region.
In the 2024 presidential race, Kamala Harris carried Gorham with 59% to 38.9% for Donald Trump. That was a Democratic margin of 20.1 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Janet Mills carried Gorham with 61.1% to 37% for Paul LePage. In the 2024 U.S. Senate race, Angus King (Unenrolled) carried Gorham with 55% to 31.3% for Demi Kouzounas.
