It is part of Congressional District 1, State Senate District 26, State House District 107 (50% of residents), State House District 106 (50% of residents), and County Commissioner District 2, in the Sebago Lakes Region.
In the 2024 presidential race, Kamala Harris carried Windham with 51.1% to 47.2% for Donald Trump. That was a Democratic margin of 3.9 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Janet Mills carried Windham with 52.3% to 46.2% for Paul LePage.
