In the 2024 presidential race, Kamala Harris carried the district with 55.3% to 42% for Donald Trump. That was a Democratic margin of 13.3 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Janet Mills carried the district with 61.7% to 36.3% for Paul LePage. In the 2024 U.S. Senate race, Angus King (Unenrolled) carried the district with 54.4% to 29.7% for Demi Kouzounas. On the Partisan Electoral Alignment Index (Partisan EAI), it ranks as the 8th most Democratic of 60 county commissioner districts.
