In the 2024 presidential race, Kamala Harris carried Lincoln County with 54.6% to 43.4% for Donald Trump. That was a Democratic margin of 11.2 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Janet Mills carried Lincoln County with 56.6% to 41.7% for Paul LePage. In the 2024 U.S. Senate race, Angus King (Unenrolled) carried Lincoln County with 54.9% to 32.8% for Demi Kouzounas. On the Partisan Electoral Alignment Index (Partisan EAI), it ranks as the 6th most Democratic of 16 counties.
