It takes in South Portland. It is represented in the Maine House of Representatives by Rep. Deqa Dhalac (D-South Portland).
In the 2024 presidential race, Kamala Harris carried the district with 74.4% to 22.9% for Donald Trump. That was a Democratic margin of 51.5 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Janet Mills carried the district with 78.5% to 20.2% for Paul LePage.
