State House District 39 is one of Maine’s 151 State House districts, as drawn in the 2021 redistricting plan and in effect since the 2022 election. Its population was 9,483 in the 2020 Census.

It takes in Belfast, Northport, and Belmont. It is represented in the Maine House of Representatives by Rep. Janice Dodge (D-Belfast).

In the 2024 presidential race, Kamala Harris carried the district with 64.2% to 33.2% for Donald Trump. That was a Democratic margin of 31 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Janet Mills carried the district with 68.2% to 29.9% for Paul LePage. In the 2024 U.S. Senate race, Angus King (Unenrolled) carried the district with 60.4% to 24% for Demi Kouzounas. On the Partisan Electoral Alignment Index (Partisan EAI), it ranks as the 28th most Democratic of 151 State House districts.
