Stockton Springs is a town in Waldo County, Maine, incorporated in 1857 as Stockton. It has an estimated 1,593 residents (2025), compared with 1,533 in the 2020 Census.
It is part of Congressional District 2, State Senate District 11, State House District 37, and County Commissioner District 2, in the Midcoast region.
In the 2024 presidential race, Kamala Harris carried Stockton Springs with 50.4% to 48.3% for Donald Trump. That was a Democratic margin of 2.1 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Janet Mills carried Stockton Springs with 53.3% to 44.6% for Paul LePage.
