State House District 73 is one of Maine’s 151 State House districts, as drawn in the 2021 redistricting plan and in effect since the 2022 election. Its population was 8,030 in the 2020 Census.

It takes in 20 places, the largest of them Rangeley, Kingfield, Phillips, Jackman, and Andover. It is represented in the Maine House of Representatives by Rep. Michael Soboleski (R-Phillips).

In the 2024 presidential race, Donald Trump carried the district with 55.8% to 41.9% for Kamala Harris. That was a Republican margin of 13.9 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Paul LePage carried the district with 52.5% to 45.2% for Janet Mills. In the 2024 U.S. Senate race, Angus King (Unenrolled) carried the district with 49.3% to 42.2% for Demi Kouzounas. On the Partisan Electoral Alignment Index (Partisan EAI), it ranks as the 41st most Republican of 151 State House districts.
