Arundel is a town in York County, Maine, incorporated in 1915 as North Kennebunkport. It has an estimated 4,596 residents (2025), compared with 4,264 in the 2020 Census.
It is part of Congressional District 1, State Senate District 32, State House District 140, and County Commissioner District 2, in the Southern Coast region.
In the 2024 presidential race, Donald Trump carried Arundel with 50.4% to 47.8% for Kamala Harris. That was a Republican margin of 2.6 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Janet Mills carried Arundel with 51.5% to 46.9% for Paul LePage. In the 2024 U.S. Senate race, Angus King (Unenrolled) carried Arundel with 50.7% to 38.1% for Demi Kouzounas. On the Partisan Electoral Alignment Index (Partisan EAI), it ranks as the 150th most Democratic of 504 towns.
