It takes in 4 cities, towns and plantations: Biddeford, Kennebunk, Arundel, and Kennebunkport.
In the 2024 presidential race, Kamala Harris carried the district with 61.9% to 36.1% for Donald Trump. That was a Democratic margin of 25.8 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Janet Mills carried the district with 65.3% to 32.8% for Paul LePage. In the 2024 U.S. Senate race, Angus King (Unenrolled) carried the district with 55.5% to 29.1% for Demi Kouzounas. On the Partisan Electoral Alignment Index (Partisan EAI), it ranks as the 9th most Democratic of 60 county commissioner districts.
