It is part of Congressional District 1, State Senate District 32, State House District 132 (42% of residents), State House District 133 (42% of residents), State House District 134 (17% of residents), and County Commissioner District 2, in the Southern Coast region.
In the 2024 presidential race, Kamala Harris carried Biddeford with 62.4% to 35.3% for Donald Trump. That was a Democratic margin of 27.1 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Janet Mills carried Biddeford with 66.1% to 31.7% for Paul LePage. In the 2024 U.S. Senate race, Angus King (Unenrolled) carried Biddeford with 53.4% to 28.4% for Demi Kouzounas.
