It is part of Congressional District 1, State Senate District 12, State House District 41, and County Commissioner District 3, in the Midcoast region.
In the 2024 presidential race, Kamala Harris carried Camden with 78% to 20% for Donald Trump. That was a Democratic margin of 58 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide.
