It is part of Congressional District 2, State Senate District 18, State House District 82, and County Commissioner District 1, in the Western Maine region.
In the 2024 presidential race, Kamala Harris carried Fryeburg with 54.8% to 43.2% for Donald Trump. That was a Democratic margin of 11.6 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide.
