Lebanon is a town in York County, Maine, incorporated in 1767. It has an estimated 6,801 residents (2025), compared with 6,469 in the 2020 Census.
It is part of Congressional District 1, State Senate District 33, State House District 144, and County Commissioner District 1, in the Western Maine region.
In the 2024 presidential race, Donald Trump carried Lebanon with 66.1% to 32.4% for Kamala Harris. That was a Republican margin of 33.7 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Paul LePage carried Lebanon with 61% to 36.8% for Janet Mills. In the 2024 U.S. Senate race, Demi Kouzounas carried Lebanon with 51.6% to 36.1% for Angus King (Unenrolled). On the Partisan Electoral Alignment Index (Partisan EAI), it ranks as the 124th most Republican of 504 towns.
