Paris is a town in Oxford County, Maine, incorporated in 1793. It has an estimated 5,409 residents (2025), compared with 5,179 in the 2020 Census.
It is part of Congressional District 2, State Senate District 18, State House District 79, and County Commissioner District 3, in the Western Maine region.
In the 2024 presidential race, Donald Trump carried Paris with 57.3% to 41% for Kamala Harris. That was a Republican margin of 16.3 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Paul LePage carried Paris with 49.9% to 47.1% for Janet Mills. In the 2024 U.S. Senate race, Angus King (Unenrolled) carried Paris with 51% to 39.3% for Demi Kouzounas.
