It is part of Congressional District 2, State Senate District 11, State House District 38, and County Commissioner District 1, in the Central Maine region.
In the 2024 presidential race, Donald Trump carried Waldo with 50.6% to 46.7% for Kamala Harris. That was a Republican margin of 3.9 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide.
