It is part of Congressional District 1, State Senate District 29, State House District 123 (98% of residents), State House District 121 (2% of residents), and County Commissioner District 4, in the Greater Portland region.
In the 2024 presidential race, Kamala Harris carried Cape Elizabeth with 77.6% to 20.5% for Donald Trump. That was a Democratic margin of 57.1 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Janet Mills carried Cape Elizabeth with 78.2% to 20.6% for Paul LePage.
