State House District 62 is one of Maine’s 151 State House districts, as drawn in the 2021 redistricting plan and in effect since the 2022 election. Its population was 9,526 in the 2020 Census.

It takes in China, Windsor, Palermo, and Somerville. It is represented in the Maine House of Representatives by Rep. Katrina Smith (R-Palermo).

In the 2024 presidential race, Donald Trump carried the district with 60.1% to 37.3% for Kamala Harris. That was a Republican margin of 22.8 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide. In the 2022 governor’s race, Paul LePage carried the district with 56.3% to 41.8% for Janet Mills. In the 2024 U.S. Senate race, Demi Kouzounas carried the district with 45.4% to 44.7% for Angus King (Unenrolled). On the Partisan Electoral Alignment Index (Partisan EAI), it ranks as the 20th most Republican of 151 State House districts.
