It is part of Congressional District 1, State Senate District 13, State House District 62, and County Commissioner District 1, in the Central Maine region.

In the 2024 presidential race, Donald Trump carried Windsor with 65.7% to 31.7% for Kamala Harris. That was a Republican margin of 34 points, against a Democratic margin of 6.9 points statewide.
